The Role

We have an opportunity available in our Halcyon Support Centre for a full-time (12 month, fixed term with opportunity for extension), Level 1 ICT Support Help Desk position. You will provide first level remote support over the phone and face-to-face for our employees located across multiple offices throughout South-East Queensland. The role requires the diagnosing and resolution of technical issues and escalation when necessary. These technical issues include both hardware and software related difficulties.

In summary, the majority of your daily tasks will be support requests but there will be time dedicated to multi-skilling, training and development and advancement. We aim to have an ICT Support team that can contribute to operations across all levels.

 

Your Profile

You will be an experienced ICT professional with a passion for Microsoft technologies. Demonstrate 1-2 years commercial experience working in first level support, exposure to second level operations is preferable. You will be confident working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt in a rapidly growing organisation demonstrate outstanding client interaction skills. Professional presentation is a must.

 

To be successful you must have:

  • 1-2 years' experience working in a customer service driven role.
  • Level 1 ICT Support experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid time management skills.
  • A willingness to ask for help when required, and delegate or escalate when appropriate.
  • Ability to work autonomously as required.

 

Technical skills:

  • Intermediate to Advanced hardware and software setup and troubleshooting
  • Intermediate to Advanced Windows 10 in a domain environment
  • Microsoft Office 365 experience
  • Phone systems (PBX) experience
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Experience with Network device configurations and troubleshooting
  • Experience with Microsoft RDS
