Senior Estate Manager (12 month parental leave position, commencing, approx. 1 April 2021)

About the role:

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Estate Manager in our Trustee Wealth Services division.

The key purpose of this role is to:

  • manage the technical administration / complete management of the end to end client facing estate management process, including co-executor / beneficiary relationships. 
  • onboard all new estate matters and allocate them to an Estate Manager based on set criteria
  • be the primary escalation point for client queries or complaints
  • assist the National Manager Estates & Trusts in developing and leading the Estate Management Team.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Exceptional (client centric) technical skills (specifically estate management), demonstrated within complex and highly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues in a highly proactive and collaborative manner.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and empathetically, adjusting style to suit the audience.
  • Exceptional client and business focus.
  • Ability to organise / prioritise tasks and work efficiently and independently.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret sections of legislation governing wills on a national basis.
  • Highly proactive, demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional technical administration (client centric) and file / account management skills.
  • Exceptional Computer / system Skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional detail focus.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, finance, law or related field
