Apex is a digital agency that specialises in digital marketing and web design/development. We are looking for a talented web developer with design skills to join our growing team. The right candidate will design and code websites in WordPress and manage hosting accounts. The current designer will work alongside you during a handover period of 4-6 weeks before she relocates to the United States.
 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate web designer who is able to take a client's brief from concept to completion. 
 

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and develop WordPress websites
• Demonstrate solid skills in front-end web development and have the skills to make amendments in JavaScript, CSS and HTML
• Manage CMS setup, integrations and updates
• Create, design and amend digital assets and related marketing materials for integration and application
• Liaise with our outsource developers when required

 

Your Skills:

• Strong communication skills, enabling you to interpret and execute our client's needs
• Able to work well unsupervised
• Good project management skills and ability to work to deadlines
• Experience in web design and web development such as WordPress.
• Experience in Graphic Design
• Proficiency in the use of Adobe Creative Suite / Sketch
• Sound experience in integration and management of CMS applications such as WordPress, Mail chimp and google webmasters.
• If you have experience with AWS servers/server pilot that is a huge plus, however training will be provided during handover
• UI Strategy / Designing for CRO
