Nuclear Medicine Scientist – Maternity Relief Position

Position 

Temporary Maternity Relief Position for 6 months (24hrs/week over 3 days) starting mid March 2021 to work in a private practice located in Randwick. Easily accessible by public transport with the new Light Rail Randwick stop only a 5-minute walk away.

Remuneration negotiable. 

Candidate should demonstrate excellent patient care, communication skills, quality control, radiation safety, image processing and ability to work independently.

Criteria 

At least 2 years experience preferred 

Previous experience on Optima 640 system utilising Xeleris 4.0 is desirable however training can be provided 

Previous experience using Medilink MedixDR DEXA scanner is desirable however training can be provided

Previous experience using Karisma RIS is highly desirable however training can be provided 

Current radiation license with the ability to perform SPECT/CT and Bone Mineral Densitometry 

Current AHPRA accreditation 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

Excellent time management skills, communication and enthusiasm 

Ability to make decisions independently
