School Canteen Supervisor 30 hours/week

Catering Industries Pty Ltd is a leading provider of contracted hospitality services (catering, cleaning and laundry) to Australia's health and aged care, education, government, corporate and resources sector.  We currently employ over 1400 personnel across various operations nationally.
 

About the role

We are currently seeking a permanent part time School Canteen Supervisor for our client's school facility in Dubbo, NSW.

Days/ Hours of work:
- Monday: 0800 - 1300
- Tuesday to Friday: 0830 - 1430

* Unpaid stand down during school breaks will apply.
 

Skills and experience

  • 3+ year's experience in a similar role
  • Basic cooking and baking skills
  • Ability to multi-task and perform work within deadlines
  • Patience and respect towards school children, staff and stakeholders
  • Must have reliable transport.
  • Working with children check is required
     

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day to day food service
  • Staff supervision
  • Computer Literate (e.g. FlexiSchools, Microsoft Office)
  • Quality Control
  • Function set up and clear down
  • Ordering and adhering to and completing quality assurance documents
  • Basic cooking required in preparation of food/beverages
