The Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Policy Officer to join our professional team. Reporting to the in-house lawyer, you will assist with policy development and responses to proposed government legislative changes.

Your duties will include but not be limited to - 

  • Providing assistance with policy development, discussion papers, position papers and drafting submissions

  • Extensively researching issues and maintain a high-level knowledge of current and emerging government policies, regulations, legislation and their impacts on the real estate industry 

  • Updating and enhancing legal template agreements and forms

  • Reviewing articles and other marketing communications

  • Developing a resource centre utilising research that would be useful for members and staff

Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated policy development experience
  • Relevant degree qualification - e.g. Law, Arts, Policy
  • Demonstrated policy lawyer experience - Highly Advantageous
  • Post Admission experience - advantageous
