Principal Hydrogeologist
Engeny Water Management (Engeny) is a leading specialist consultancy in the water industry, providing customised and practical solutions to our clients. We offer a range of water management and water infrastructure design services that encompass almost every aspect of the water management cycle.
Groundwater is the missing link to complete our suite of services. We are seeking a Senior or Principal Hydrogeologist who aspires to build a groundwater service group within our existing established consultancy.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to leverage from Engeny’s extensive network of clients across the resources and infrastructure industries and local and state governments along the east coast.
Engeny has grown to 100 people across three offices over the last 10 years; with 70% of our staff owning an equity share in the business.
Engeny plans to continue growing through diversification of services and office locations; while maintaining our culture and company values.
Role description
Groundwater Discipline Lead reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Be responsible for the establishment and future ongoing development and growth of a groundwater service group within Engeny.
Prepare annual business plans and monitor progress against targets.
Oversee the well-being, development and resourcing of team members.
Oversee and approve associated technical work including modelling, investigations and reporting.
Client management and business development.
Play an active role in the business leadership group through regular meetings, workshops, training and business planning.
Experience in environmental impact assessments and groundwater investigations for the mining and resources industry will be advantageous.
