Our Client is currently looking for Caseworkers experienced in providing Early Intervention services to Young People and their family. The Early Intervention Caseworker will work closely with Young Parents in increasing parenting capacity, education in developmental milestones for children and providing outreach to increase referral rates within the allocated Local Government Area (LGA). 

This role will involve;

• Early Intervention Case Management of young persons aged between 15 - 18 
• Managing a caseload of approx. 8 
• Providing parenting training and development 
• Making relevant referrals to external agencies where required 
• Liaising and working closely with internal Counsellors 

They are looking for candidates with experience in Early Intervention, Parenting Training, Early Childhood and/or Child Protection.

The requirements for this role include;

• Tertiary degree level qualification in Social Work or a related discipline.
• Experience in Early Intervention
• Experience in working with children and young people 
• Experience in outreach 
• Confident Stakeholder engagement skills
• Knowledge of current Child Protection legislation and policies
