Business Improvement Team Manager - Motor Accident Compensation | NT-Darwin

TIO is recruiting a Business Improvement Team Manager to join their MAC team. This is a newly created role within the business.  The MAC Team is responsible for administering the Motor Accident Compensation Scheme on behalf of the Motor Accident Compensation Commission (MACC). This role is critical for the success of transformation activities and execution of operational plans within the MAC Motor Accident Compensation business.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading continuous improvement, business transformation initiatives and monitoring strategy development in the Motor Accident Compensation business.  
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to identify, develop, and implement practical solutions with an increased customer outcome focus
  • Providing insights into the team performance through analytics
  • Promoting employee coaching and development on Business Improvement processes and frameworks 

Important to your success:

You will bring an ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders at varying levels across our business utilising strong analytical skills and business focused solutions. In addition to:

  • Strong claims management, people management and leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience in analysis of key claims trends and data, and implementation of new operational processes with improved outcomes
  • High level of understanding of legislative and regulatory environments
  • Related tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded but not essential
