Our suite of product lines include automotive lubricants, transmission fluids, gear oils, hydraulic lubricants, filters, car care products, automotive chemicals, specialty products, greases and cooling system products.

We are currently seeking the position of Regional Territory Manager.  Reporting to State Manager VIC/TAS.  This position is responsible for achieving and exceeding set sales budgets within designated territory for Valvoline lubricants and associated Car Care products. To maintain existing major accounts and to prospect and secure new business. This position will be based in Tasmania.  Knowledge of the area and someone who resides in Tasmania would be a distinct advantage.  

Responsibilities

  •  Territory Manager to achieve sales budget for Valvoline – lubricants and associated Car Care products
  • To prospect and win new business to increase customer base
  • Monitor and administer amortised clients
  • To maintain existing customers and endeavour to increase Valvoline’s product ranges of business
  • On-going development of sales skills, product knowledge, customer service and team work

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as business or marketing would be highly regarded.
  • Ability to be well organised and effectively manage time and tasks.
  • Good communication and organisational skills required. 
  • Proficient in MS office and the use of a CRM tool.
  • Experience in industrial or automotive industry is desirable
  • Ability to function constructively within a team environment, as well as working autonomously. Motivated towards achievement of individual and team goals.
  • Ability to display energy and self-motivation
  • Experience in a sales environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and is able to develop firm relationships.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Essential Working Requirements

  • Must be authorised to work in Australia
  • Automotive or Industrial Markets will be an advantage however not necessity.
