Receptionist

Delaware North at Lane Cove Holiday Park has a new exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join a small team of professionals providing excellent service in a hidden gem located just out of the city.

Just over 20 minutes north of Sydney’s CBD, the park offers both cabin and campground accommodation, in the serene setting of the Lane Cove National Park. With opportunities for bushwalking, biking, boating, kayaking, picnicking and playing, Lane Cove offers something for everyone, providing a perfect base for exploring both the national park and nearby Sydney.

As a talented and passionate hospitality professional, you will be assisting us in delivering outstanding guest experiences inthis beautiful pocket of bushland, engaging our guests from arrival to departure. The role is one that requires a “Can Do” attitude that is bright, motivated and enthusiastic. You will be the first point of call for the customers, so you will be a frontline representative for Delaware North and our company values.

 

What your role will include:

  • Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out
  • Handle guest requests, inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently
  • Being pro-active in completing tasks both in peak and off peak times
  • Upselling and promoting guest services and attractions
  • Perform duties with a high level of positive guest service
  • Self-motivatedand able to work autonomously
  • Ability to multi-skill carrying out a variety of tasks across the property
  • Ability to manage time and prioritising of tasks essential

 

What you will bring to the role:

  • Reception experience (Hotel/Holiday Park exp desirable)
  • Guest and team focus
  • Professional phone manner & personal presentation
  • Strong communication, attention to detail and time management skills
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to the role
  • Proficient experience in Newbook, Rezexpert or RMS
  • Strong level of IT proficiency
