Asquith Workforce is an Australian Indigenous owned and operated recruitment agency providing permanent, temporary and labour hire solutions to a variety of industries and cultures across Sydney, Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Central Coast.

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Marketing and Communication Coordinator to join our client-focused, strategic team in 2021. This generalist role is hands-on, with lots of variety and focus in the communications, marketing and events space.

Reporting to the company owner you will be responsible for developing & executing the requirements for the organisation in the areas of marketing, brand management, public relations and communications with support as necessary to deliver a first-class service to the organisation and its members. 
We are looking for someone who is strategic and analytical yet highly creative, personally self-driven and love being a part of a market sector with every changing environment and someone who is capable of juggling numerous deliverables at any one time.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is available for a minimum of 25 hours per week, we are flexible on days/hours worked. We would love someone to start in February 2021. You will be a part of a dedicated and customer focused team which has a friendly, engaging, and collaborative culture

The successful applicant will:
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or a related discipline. 
  • Outstanding communication skills, written and oral with high attention to detail.
  • Experience in developing and implementing local area marketing campaigns.
  • Drive to deliver excellent customer service, and work collaboratively with others. 
  • Successfully secure new business through tendering, grant writing and procurement processes.
  • Develop strategies to meet market trends and increase market share.
  • Ability to think analytically and creatively and to be able to bring to life your innovative ideas during the tendering process.
  • Implementing a wide range of marketing and community initiatives from writing customer communications to developing printed and digital marketing materials
  • Prepare and publish social media and website content.
  • Embracing technology and continuously seeking out emerging trends, ideas to cultivate strategies and digital activations to increase efficiency, lead acquisitions and conversions.
  • Event planning and coordination as required. Event experience
  • Qualifications in Marketing or related business discipline
  • Experience in a similar role within the Recruitment industry is certainly desirable.
  • Exceptional networking and stakeholder management skills 
  • Previous social media management and design experience 
  • A strong work ethic and a great working attitude
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and natural problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Copywriting, proof-reading and editing of internal and external communications.
We are looking for a communication and marketing specialist. You will have high-level attention to detail.  This role will see you working within a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines in collaboration with a great team culture - we are friendly, creative, and close-knit.
