IT Support Engineer

Seagrass Boutique Hospitality Group specialises in creating superior and innovative branded hospitality concepts for discerning diners within Australia and internationally.

Due to business growth we are looking for a passionate and forward thinking IT Support Technician to become part of our driven and professional Sydney team.

The IT Support technician is responsible for technical Level 1/2 support and advice to users across multiple locations, platforms and technologies. Maintain and support information, technology and communications services.

The Role:

  • Providing quality IT Support to our Restaurants and End Users.
  • Ensure requests are lodged, implement corrective action and follow up escalated issues to ensure a successful resolution is achieved
  • Supporting hardware/software across various businesses both remotely and onsite
  • Provisioning new hardware/software to users and sites
  • Maintaining systems and documentation
  • Recording/maintaining asset and user information
  • Regular travel nationally and some international travel

You:

  • Tertiary IT Qualification or relative job experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Work unsupervised and in team
  • Very strong knowledge in network environments (LAN, WAN/SD-WAN, TCP/IP, Windows desktops and servers), hardware and mobile devices
  • Experience with POS systems
  • Minimum 2 years' equivalent industry experience preferred
  • Desirable exposure to G Suite, IP Phone systems, A/V and CCTV Systems
  • Hospitality management background is a benefit
  • Permanent full time working rights
  • Driver's License & have your own vehicle
