Service Desk Manager

The opportunity

Due to an interstate move this data and research organisation are looking to grow the team in Melbourne with a hands on Service Desk Manager. Servicing the IT needs of the business internally with around 20 staff, and then externally with 50 plus consultants who travel around Australia conducting research projects. It’s a varied role that will see you managing the infrastructure, managing tickets, and supporting the security of the network, whilst also mentoring a junior team.

What we are looking for?

We are looking for experienced IT Team Leader who has a can-do attitude, an ability to think on their feet and a diverse technical background. The environment is predominantly Microsoft so demonstrated experience with Windows server 2016 and/or 2019, demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune, solid networking skills.

 

The following attributes are highly desirable: 

  • Experience with Sharepoint and Onedrive
  • Experience with IT security tools
  • Experience with VMware ESXI
  • Experience deploying and updating software
  • MCSE / CCNA
