DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Trainee Development Officer is a part-time role and is responsible for the delivery of junior development programs within schools and the local community. This position is integral in integration of junior development and schools programs and aims to grow the participation in tennis across the state

Duties and Responsibilities for this job include:

  • Market / promote programs and services
  • Coordinate inter-school sport and recreation programs
  • Assist with the delivery of programs and services
  • Class preparation / set-up
  • General administrative support

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will have the ability to deliver programs to groups of young people and must be a confident communicator

Job Requirements for this role:

  • A permanent right to work in Australia
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Good time management / organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team

SALARY

As the successful candidate, you will receive:

$19,000 – $25,000+9.5 % Superannuation

  • National Training Wage Award
  • Fully Funded Qualification

MORE INFORMATION

  • People with tertiary qualifications need not apply. Current university applicants may have to defer their studies to be eligible for this traineeship.
  • This position is best suited to a recent secondary school leaver.
