The opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Sports Department team to facilitate a safe, professional, and well-organised sporting program portfolio at Radford College. The sports cater for all students and at all levels and the portfolio of sports will be determined by the Head of Sport (HoS).
About the role
The Sports Program Coordinator is responsible for providing coordination and administration duties for each sports program within the portfolio, overseeing the development of consistent processes and procedures and managing the employment and compliance documentation for external providers, coaches and team managers aligned to each sports program.

About you
The successful candidate will have had a minimum of 2 years sports administration experience working in sport-based programs at a school, club, regional, state, professional or national level.
They will be a confident self-starter who enjoys building relationships with multiple stakeholders both inside and outside of the College, possesses excellent communication skills, and can be relied upon to work autonomously.
Candidates must have:
- MS Office proficient, a willingness to learn school systems (for example Synergetic and SEQTA) and experience using web environments to research, collect and analyze data
- Demonstrate a passion for collaborative working as a member of a high-functioning team, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Be energetic, enthusiastic and demonstrate a willingness to grow through the sharing of best practice and professional experience
- Possess exceptional communications skills both written and verbal, as well as excellent time management skills
- Ability to think strategically and look for opportunities to improve the sports program
- Commit to the safeguarding and promotion of student welfare
- Support Radford’s strategic priorities and goals
- Uphold Radford’s Values of Truth, Compassion and Wisdom
Qualifications
- Relevant vocational or tertiary qualifications (i.e., Sports Management, Education)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Light rigid (Class LR) bus license (is desirable)
- Working with Vulnerable People card
