Part Time UI Web Designer For Conversion Agency

  • Can you take a style guide, content and a problem and deliver a conversion focused website?
  • …And bring your own flare, style and Art Direction Skills?

  • Work on Small, Medium and Large Brands Online Presence
  • Place your mark on businesses Australia Wide by crafting their web presence

Our thriving web design and digital marketing agency is expanding and we need more rising talent to help us serve our awesome clients. Working with businesses large and small, you could be working on projects for leading national brands, or our very own co-working space website. The role is very diverse but all websites are built with a purpose; more leads, better messaging, improved vision to name a few.

Our skilled team is located all over the world and dedicated to creating unique websites with a focus on conversions and applying best practice, accessible web design principles and thoughtfulness to all the work we do. We are searching for a mid weight or senior UX/UI designer who wants to join our in office and virtual team.

This role is part time 2 days per week, we work in a socially distancing safe (COVID friendly) office.

This would suit a full time freelancer looking for ongoing work, someone returning to the workforce or who needs part time for family commitments or study, or while juggling other projects or work (or maybe just working less!)

What do you need to bring to the party?

A focused approach to the work you do, a thoughtful approach to the problems we are solving and how the web design can deliver on them, respect and consideration to clients brands with a passion to see our clients brand succeed, a "can do" attitude, a good pair of headphones (as we work in open plan co-working) and bonus points for a love of dogs. (Why not bring your canine friend in to work? We are dog friendly!).

You do not need to have development skills for this role, but a techy mind is a definite bonus, as is reliability, a no BS attitude and you have to be TRUSTWORTHY!

This is the perfect job for you if you are looking to work mostly independently (and with our digital strategist), take alot of pride in your work and delivery, happy to work across many different projects, can take a brief and run with it, ask questions and contribute to collaboration as you need and strive to deliver your "all" to every web design completed. You'll be working closely with the Digital Strategist and Client service as well as communicating daily with our development, project management and support staff.

You must enjoy working autonomously, have strong communication skills and enjoy working as part of a remote team.

Remuneration will be negotiated based on experience and your awesome skills.

Important: Please include 2 -3 corporate website examples for medium sized businesses (not large enterprises) that you have designed

The application form will include these questions:
  • How many years' experience do you have as a web designer?
