Assistant Project Manager

About the Opportunity

To help us achieve this we require an Assistant Project Manager within our Infrastructure Project Delivery team. We are seeking someone who is able to manage work priorities and tasks, has excellent time management skills and is committed to learning with a growth mindset.
Supporting our team of experienced and highly skilled Project Managers, on a typical day our Assistant Project Manager will:
- Engage and manage consultants and contractors under the supervision of a Project Manager
- Forecast and track project costs
- Be involved with invoice processing and project administration
- Conduct sites visits and inspections
- Manage design and environmental approvals
- Assist in the planning of future projects
- Be involved in WHS activities pre and during construction phases

Remuneration
This is a full time, temporary role (2 years), with remuneration in the range of $77,120-$86,803 per annum (depending on skills and experience) with a 35-hour work week, plus 9.5% superannuation.
Within this role you will have access to flexible work arrangements and discounted gym membership.
About Councils Infrastructure Project Delivery Team
The Infrastructure Project Delivery Section provides end to end project management services for internal project stakeholders, from project initiation, through to planning, design, construction, commissioning and the final completion/handover phase. The portfolio includes the asset classes of water, sewerage, roads, buildings, bridges, airport, recreational/sporting facilities, waste and environmental services.
