DISTRIBUTION - DISPATCH  WORKERS

IMMEDIATE START

 

Location – Mareeba, QLD

Our client a leader in fresh and cooked poultry products are currently looking for people with Production/Distribution/Dispatch experience preferably with a forklift licence for their Poultry Processing Plant.

These are casual roles Monday to Saturday – view to permanent for the right person - with additional shift loadings and allowances when applicable.

To be considered for these roles you would have:

• Drivers licence and own transport to get to work
• Capable of heavy lifting on and off conveyor belts and pallets throughout a shift
• Physically fit for labour intensive/repetitive manual work in a fast paced role
• Experience in distribution and/or a production line – loading and unloading pallets and trucks, scanning, wrapping and palletisation of stock, picking/packing, dispatch using pallet jacks and forklift
• Forklift licence an advantage but not essential
• Ability to work in a cold refrigerated environment with raw product
• Strong WHS awareness
• Be flexible for shift work on a weekly roster Monday to Friday – weekends and overtime will be expected during peak periods
• Be hard working, 100% reliable and available on call/short notice
