Stahmann Webster runs farming and processing operations and administration offices in Queensland (Bundaberg and Toowoomba), NSW (Moree and the Riverina) and Tasmania (Swansea).
Role
The primary focus of the Administration Officer is to support Managers in administrative duties including data entry, drafting reports and assisting with purchase orders. This role will manage data for operational management efficiency (through farm management software), labour efficiency, inventory management, purchase orders and capex preparation. The position has close alignment and an indirect reporting line to the Finance business unit.
Duties include but not limited to
- Support the Farming Business Managers and their teams
- Assist the Orchard Managers and New Development Managers with full implementation and effective utilisation of the Conservis farm management software
- Assistance in areas of purchase orders via Concur, inventory management and capex preparation
- Assistance in analysing staff hours through time management software, Human Force
- Assistance in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports
- Management of ad-hoc information requests and analysis
Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience
- Administration experience in a medium to large business
- ERP system knowledge and experience
- Experience in assistance in the preparation of monthly management reports
- Eagerness to drive process efficiency and define reporting tools
- Experience in product costing and comparison
- Management of ad-hoc information requests and analysis
- Involvement in growth and development of the business
- Valid driver’s licence
Desirable
- Accounting experience
- Experience with Conservis, Concur, SAP B1
- Qualifications in accounting or business
- Experience in supporting Managers in review of the monthly accounts
