Settlement Officer - Bank of China (Sydney CBD)
The role is a one-year maximum term contract role as Settlement Officer in our Operations Department.
You are mainly responsible for processing respective post-trade activities, accounting entries and documentations in relation to treasury & FX transactions
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Transactions processing
- Front office deal settlement, account booking, fund transfer and settlement;
- Effectively work with all internal and external counterparts to assist with all settlement issues;
- Statistic report in relation to settlement and clearing services;
- Performing ad-doc duties assigned by supervisor;
- Settlement related case investigation and problem solving;
Candidates should essentially have:
- more than 1 year Treasury Settlement relevant experience;
- Tertiary degree or above, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Business or related disciplines;
- proficient knowledge and experience toward SWIFT, and major central clearing house system operations (e.g. Austraclear, Clearsteam, Euroclear etc.);
- Sound written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese
