Sales Representative - PPE

ATS Global  was founded in 2000 and is a leading import  of high quality and performance safety products.  A family owned busines 

We are seeking a self-starting individual who can work autonomously and can continue the sales growth already established within the Sydney metro territory and a selected regional area of New South Wales 

The primary role requires the successful candidate to apply their account management skill-set and work collectively in the field with health & safety, operational and procurement stakeholders to drive change.   

You will need to develop a deep understanding of local market demands and will build on ATS Global’s excellent relationships throughout NSW

ATS Global products are marketed through distributors , meaning you will be require to comprehensively oversee the local industrial and safety distributor network across our core product categories in NSW.

The role

The key outcome for this role is to develop and profitably grow ATS Global’s complete product range to exceed sales and profit targets in the NSW area. Your daily duties will focus on and include the key tasks:

  • Develop strong  relationships  with distributors to create demand for ATS Global
  • Maintain strong pipeline of upcoming opportunities
  • Provide technical support relating to PPE/HSE matters to key stakeholders
  • Collect market intelligence relating to all areas of business development
  • Conduct distributor planning and reviews, including optimization of existing and new distribution channels
  • Deliver continuous improvement through training around product, application and compliance knowledge to the broader industry
  • Maintain and update company CRM.

To be our ideal candidate, you will likely possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ sales and account management experience
  • A solid foundation in promoting technical products
  • Previous experience promoting Safety PPE categories, which is highly desirable
  • Passion for working with a market leader
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally, including remote areas
  • Business or technical degree/diploma in OHS, workplace training and assessing is highly regarded
  • Current Australian issued driver’s licence essential
