LGPro is the peak body for Local Government professionals in Victoria. Working in close collaboration with a member elected Board, LGPro Victoria is the key voice, advocate and advisory resource for all local government professionals, senior managers and emerging leaders of all 79 Victorian Councils.

As Chief Executive Officer, you will provide the contemporary thinking and leadership that will ensure the organisation delivers on all aspects of its strategic intent and vision while also continuously developing the member services portfolio to meet the changing demands of the dynamic Local Government landscape. On a broader level, you will play a key role in influencing positive change and innovation across the sector.

Your management style is built around collaboration, accountability and embracing innovation and you have the confidence and professionalism to quickly build credibility and working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders across metro, regional and rural councils. A strong knowledge of financial management and a commercial mindset will allow you to identify and explore new business streams.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented executive who has a strong understanding of Local or State Government to assist in advocating for the views and representing the interests and aspirations of Local Government employees in Victoria.
