Facilities and Maintenance Manager
The Principal of Inner Sydney Montessori School (ISMS) invites applications for the position of Facility and Maintenance Manager. This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced Facility and Maintenance Manager or someone ready to step up into this role to join our School for an immediate start.

About You
This is a hands on, dynamic and rewarding position where your solid work experience in facilities maintenance, excellent work ethic and professionalism, will ensure your success. A trade qualification and previous experience working within Independent Schools is highly desirable, but not essential.
Selection Criteria:
This is a hands on role and to be considered for this position your experience should include:
- Carry out a complete range of building, grounds and facilities maintenance tasks including gardening works;
- Manage and ensure all preventative and routine maintenance tasks are completed;
- Manage cleaning contractor;
- Complete minor works projects and manage contractors;
- Manage security and lockdown and evacuation programs;
- Maintain maintenance area, vehicles, tools and equipment;
- Maintain key registers and other compliance schedules;
- Drive the inter campus school bus;
- Commitment to WH&S Act 2011 standards and regulations;
- Excellent communication skills, reliable, confidential and team oriented;
- Previous solid 5 years experience in a similar role or commensurate experience;
- Abreast of regulatory frameworks, legislation, policies and procedures as they relate to facilities maintenance.
You will have:
- Current Working with Children Check;
- Child Protection Certificate;
- MR Drivers Licence
- Valid First-Aid qualification
or be willing to obtain. The successful candidate will be required to provide certified copies of their qualifications prior to their commencement at ISMS. You must have full Australian working rights, with no restrictions.
