About Avida:

Avida is Australia's largest motorhome manufacturer. We have been manufacturing quality Recreational Vehicles for over 55 years. Our manufacturing facility is located at Emu Plains, in Western Sydney and we have a dealer sales network throughout Australia and New Zealand.

We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic HR Coordinator to join our HR Manager in a generalist role.  This is an exciting time in our business as we continue to improve our LEAN practices, and work towards World Class Manufacturing.

Opportunity:

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will support frontline management.  The ideal candidate enjoys a dynamic and demanding role that requires a positive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills. 

What we offer:

  • On average, 2 close downs per year, generally over Easter & Christmas; and
  • Being part of our journey to World Class Manufacturing.

All about You:

  • Proven experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent organisational, time management and attention to detail skills;
  • Demonstrate initiative and a strong focus on providing a high level of service;
  • Ability to work within a fast paced environment;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; and
  • Previous experience working in manufacturing would be desirable;

Job tasks and responsibilities:

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Acting as point of contact for enquiries and issues related to HR;
  • End to end process of recruitment;
  • Onboarding and inductions;
  • HR administrational duties;
  • Workers compensation administration;
  • Reward and recognition programs;
  • Working with the HR Manager in a generalist role to form the Human Resources Team;
  • Adhere to WH&S standards at all times; and
  • Living our company values of “We Care, We Listen, We Learn, We Act”
