Description

Reporting into a call centre team leader, you will provide support to customers over the phone, via an inbound call system.

This particular team you would be joining support a well known financial based client and so you will be comfortable in dealing with customers who have a lot of queries and matters they need assistance with from that perspective.

As a key member of the team, you will be happy to work on a shift pattern basis between 6am - 11 pm each day and be happy to work on occasional weekend days to which penalty rates will be paid. If you cannot be available for all days and times, it is recommended you do not apply for this role.

This is a non-sales position and the inbound/outbound element of these roles is customer service focused.

Key Responsibilities:

The key duties for this customer service position include the following: -

  • Understanding the contact centre client's goals and putting in 100% efforts to achieve these
  • Taking inbound calls from customers who require assistance in ordering new transactional cards, issues with online banking, fraud reporting and other financial queries
  • Listening to a customer's circumstances and using your initiative to take the best action moving forward to assist them with a positive outcome
  • Taking customers personal and confidential details and inputting them into a computer system
  • Completing security questions with customers
  • Understanding from a client perspective, when you can and cannot assist a customer

Profile

Key Experience and Qualifications

To be considered for this role you must have

  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency
  • At least 1 year's solid experience in a call centre focused OR customer service position
  • Experience of inbound and/or outbound calls
  • Proven examples of excellent customer service
  • An understanding of KPI focused delivery goals
  • The ability to travel to a Southern Gold Coast location easily at any time of day
  • The dedication to a full-time working week with shift patterns and weekend work
  • Ability to take and pass a bankruptcy check and a criminal police check
  • Ability to provide 2 positive referees from recent jobs

The start date for these positions will be 01 February 2021 and it is imperative that you start on this day, as a 2 week training schedule will commence, which is compulsory.
