Inventory Control / Pick & Pack Warehouse Worker

Steadfast Australia has an opportunity for an Inventory Control / Pick & Pack Warehouse Worker to join their team in Woodville North SA.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the management of specific inventory plus the receiving, picking, packing and despatching of orders and general warehouse duties. 

You will be an organised, focused individual with great attention to detail and carry out your duties accurately. A great attitude and approachable nature will be highly regarded. You must be physically fit and capable of regular lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specific Inventory Management, stock control and cycle counts
• The picking & packing of orders to a high level of accuracy
• Ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on time to meet business and client KPI’s
• Develop a proactive approach to completion of daily operations that encourages teamwork, cooperation and positive communication
• The receipt, inventory management and location of incoming stock
• Processing of all transactions using the Warehouse Management Systems
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in all storage and packing areas
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment
• Communicate and cooperate with Supervisors and Co-Workers
• Ensure WH&S and quality standards and procedures are maintained

Successful Applicants must demonstrate the following:

• Motivated, enthusiastic and a great work ethic
• Previous Experience with Inventory Management & Stock Counts
• Previous warehouse, pick, pack and despatch experience
• Experience in the operation of warehouse management systems
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Familiarity with modern warehouse practices & methods
• Outstanding time management & problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently, in a team or coordinate a small team
• Excellent communication skills
• Physically Fit
• Current High Risk Forklift Licence – Preferred but not essential to the right applicant
• Previous experience in the warehousing, logistics and retail industries will be an advantage

The position will be fulltime after a satisfactory completion of a probation period.
