What is the opportunity?

An opportunity is now available to provide support in the delivery of key Business improvement initiatives through our enterprise-wide strategy.  Further to this, you will play a key role in identifying improvement opportunities for the business by using your excellent analytical skills and applying lean methodologies to increase efficiencies.

What are some of the responsibilities of the role?

  • Using modern process mapping tools to ensure existing processes are well documented, centrally managed and readily accessible
  • Establishing a ‘centre of excellence’ for process documentation, design and improvement
  • Working with the business to identify target processes for improvement initiatives
  • Developing and implementing business improvement methodologies across new and existing processes (e.g. Lean Six/Sigma)
  • Fostering a culture that identifies and acts on efficiency improvement opportunities
  • Conducting quality assessments and awareness programs to ensure staff are up to date with changes and knowledge is regularly refreshed
  • Actively participate in leading and managing organisational change

How can you be successful in this role?

  • You have success in similar roles – you have led process mapping and improvement initiatives involving complex cross-functional business activities
  • You can quickly make sense of detail and use modern tools and approaches to provide clarity where others might struggle
  • You will have exceptional communication skills at all levels of business
  • You will have a strong commercial acumen with the ability to focus on return on investment
  • Ideally you will have tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce or a related field
  • Knowledge and professional experience working with Lean Six Sigma methodologies will be highly regarded.
