MPOT & Access Fitness are one of SA’s leading providers of Allied Health and Disability Services to the community. Our broad range of services include Exercise Physiology, OT & Physio services with access to other allied health services. Our expertise spans from treating clients with everyday sprains & strains through to clients with complex and serious conditions such as Acquired Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, burns, Multiple Trauma & Amputations.
MPOT's team consists of a dedicated group of health professionals who are committed to providing the best multi-disciplinary treatment & support possible, to our clients.
The Opportunity
The MPOT team is currently looking for a dedicated, Senior Occupational Therapist to become part of our successful and highly regarded team.
OTs in our team have an interesting and varied caseload including daily living assessment & intervention programs, employment assessments & community rehabilitation.
- Work with a varying clientele ranging from those with short term injuries to complex injuries & disabilities
- Use assessment & clinical reasoning skills to make a significant difference in people's lives
- Have the flexibility to work autonomously both in the community & in the clinic
- Undertake occupational therapy interventions as part of innovative treatment programmes offered across a wide range of clinical & environmental areas
- Work in purpose designed clinic which includes treatment rooms, work conditioning area & fully accessible rehabilitation gym.
About You
We are seeking applications from registered OTs to work in our Tanunda and/or Fullarton sites, who have experience in any of the following areas :
- Serious/Complex Injury Management
- Driver Trained
- Return to Work
- NDIS
- Motor vehicle insurance
To be considered for this opportunity you will also need to demonstrate:
- The ability to engage with a diverse range of clients
- Compassion & professionalism
- Self-motivation with a willingness to learn
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to work as a team player; able to work with a multi-disciplinary team as well as autonomously
- Experience mentoring junior colleagues and students preferred
You must hold current & unrestricted registration with AHPRA, the appropriate DCSI clearances and a current full drivers licence and your own vehicle.
