Operations Manager (maternity leave cover)

Guerrilla is a full-service digital agency based on the Gold Coast. As a collection of passionate professionals, we fuel our mastery with empathy, guiding clients towards achieving tangible results through exceptional experiences. In other words, we connect people and brands. We’re looking for an adept Operations Manager — someone able to harmoniously conduct our projects, resources and operations. This is a maternity leave contract for approximately 5 months, commencing in March/April 2021.

About the role

Agency efficiency. Output profitability. Project direction. You’re the go-to for studio scheduling and project resourcing. In fact, you’ll keep an eye on every project, and help make sure everything’s on time and budget. Overseeing the project management team and working closely with our Account Managers, you’ll also review, and support with, scopes and project plans. Plus, thanks to your shrewd eye for detail, you’ll be the first to spot any risks — flagging issues to ensure solutions occur before anything goes awry.

About you

With 5+ years’ experience, you’re an Operations/Traffic Manager with a knack of working with digital marketing, communications, development and design teams. You know your devs from your designers, and feel comfortable preparing schedule plans for a multidisciplinary, full-service agency. Of course, time management is your thing, and project management tools are your second, digital home. Ideally, these will include the likes of Jira and Slack, but experience with similar products is fine with us.

About us

Yes, we partner with amazing clients. But our biggest victory is our unique, friendly team. Packed full of industry professionals from across the world, they're a wonderful mix of personalities, cultures, languages, food preferences and, of course, specialisms. It's exactly what we need, as every day brings unique challenges. But that's what you thrive on.

On top of a competitive salary, positive culture and an unbeatable coastal lifestyle, we also offer day-to-day perks, social events, and free local parking. If cycling's more your thing, secure storage and on-site showers are available. And for the surfers out there, we'll even give your board a safe place to stay.

Please note; due to the volume of applications received, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted. Guerrilla is an equal opportunity employer and we encourage all applications. We are committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive work environment.
