A great opportunity exists for a motivated and experienced Exercise Physiologist to join the Reform Studios team.
This is a part-time opportunity (approximately 18hrs/wk) for someone who is motivated to add some additional hours to their week. We have built a successful reformer Pilates studio in Mitchelton over the past 3 years, and are looking for someone to help us manage the popularity of our EP services. With a separate room of 6 beautiful new Allegro 2 reformers (with towers), we require an EP to join our current EP and Physiotherapist to help deliver clinical assessments and reformer Pilates programs for our existing clients. This will include pregnancy, back pain, postural improvement and general injury recovery. Whilst you can draw on the knowledge and experience of our consulting Senior Physiotherapist, and our team of motivated instructors, you would have a high level of autonomy and flexibility in this role.
The facility is fully functioning and ready to go when you are!
Reform Studios is a truly boutique Pilates studio located on Blackwood Street, Mitchelton. We have worked hard to build a community of members who have benefited from our inclusive and high quality group reformer classes. However, at any given time there are a number of clients who we would love to be able to provide the next level of care, including a range of smaller more specialised classes, or private/semi-private Pilates sessions.
Our Allegro 2 reformers sit within their own studio space adjacent to our larger group reformer studio. The studio is also fitted with a staff office, kitchen and fully compliant disabled bathroom and shower facility.
For more information about us, please visit us at www.reformstudios.com.au.
As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be responsible for the assessment of clients, prescription of exercises and supervision of their exercise programs, in collaboration with the Reform Studios team. This will involve:
- The assessment of client's needs and goals;
- Coordinating individual and group exercise programs using Reform Studio's equipment; and
- Working with the Reform team to ensure client progress is maintained, along with all relevant clinical notes.
To be successful in the role you will be a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 3 years experience, excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to working collaboratively within an existing team, and autonomously when needed.
The successful candidate will also meet the following criteria;
- Bachelor of Exercise Physiology (or equivalent);
- Own indemnity insurance;
- Accredited Member with ESSA; and
- Eligibility for registration with Medicare (our HICAPS is already established)
Pilates Reformers experience would be advantageous, but not essential.
