What are we looking for?
As a Network Administrator and key contributor to the IT team, you will bring to this role a strong, analytical networking background and experience working with enterprise IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and reliable operation of networks and systems that fulfill business objectives and processes.
Your focus will be to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of internet-based systems and supported business functions that enable secure remote connections.
From a technical perspective, your profile will contain a strong knowledge of WAN technologies, combined with the ability to configure networking equipment, read/diagnose network logs and identify any connectivity issues.
Working alongside our experienced engineers, this role involves integration of complex, bespoke technologies across multiple platforms. In addition to this, you will also proactively support all stakeholders in our business to provide a mixture of network administration and Windows/Linux application server support.

What will your day look like?
After making your espresso at our coffee machine it’s time to plan your day. For the majority of it you’re likely to be busy working with the IT team to enhance networking technologies, strategise changes where required and facilitate NBN migrations.
There’s no shortage of interaction with our team in Greece – this is a key relationship. You’ll also work closely with the Department of Justice and the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation (VCGLR), as well as field service and telecommunications providers, IT hardware suppliers, gaming venue operators and service companies.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, with proven experience in Cisco and Juniper technologies. You will have demonstrable networking and systems skills, be able to work autonomously/within a dynamic team and be hands on at all levels.
A smart and forward thinking approach will be second nature to you, as will the ability to identify areas for improvement and find solutions. You will be customer service oriented and passionate about creating a high-performance culture. Formal qualifications/certifications, or equivalent IT industry experience.
You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with unrestricted and unlimited work rights. A National Police Check and Gaming Industry Licence will be required upon appointment.
