About us

Aspire Recovery Connection is a for-purpose organisation delivery mental health services in the community. We are a Lived Experience organisation, providing recovery-oriented outreach services for people living with significant mental and emotional distress. We strive for social justice, human rights and heart to heart connection.

Qualifications & experience

  • A minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work/Mental Health or related qualification (or be very close to completion)
  • A minimum Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work/Mental Health or related qualification (or be very close to completion)
  • Australian driver's license, reliable car and insurance
  • Police and DHS screening clearance

Tasks & responsibilities

  • As a Recovery Coach you will work from a lived experience, human rights and strengths-based framework to support people towards their recovery goals.
  • You will offer humility, compassion and connection to build trust and rapport
  • You will support people to activate their choice and control and connect with the NDIS services to support their wellbeing
  • You will help people to uphold their human rights and navigate the mental health system towards recovery
  • You will collaborate with people to monitor and manage their NDIS plan and apply for reviews
  • You will work with family and carers in your people's best interest
