About the role:
C&K Walker Street Community Child Care Centre is currently looking for an Assistant Educator to join their team on a fixed-term contract. As an experienced and qualified Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing quality care and education program in co-operation with the group leader.
-       Full-Time - Fixed-Term
-       Start Date - April 2021 until December 2021  
Ideal applicants will have: 
  • An ACECQA recognised qualification - already obtained or working towards.
  • Prior experience working in the early childhood profession.
  • Previous experience with inclusion support is highly desirable
  • Awareness of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLF)
  • Experience assisting with the implementation of a planned program, ensuring the needs of the group and individual children are met. Ability to obtain a Blue Card, First Aid and National police check
  • An ability to obtain a Blue Card, First Aid and National police check
