About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Community Health Promotions Officer to join the Pintupi Homeland Health Service team in Kintore, NT.
Reporting to the Health Services Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a Healthy Youth Program, a preventative health program targeting young adults (15-34).

To be successful in this role you will hold a relevant qualification in health promotion, public health, education, community development or an allied health discipline.
Experience working in a remote area or with disadvantaged people is desirable, however not essential.
Please Note: A current manual Driver's Licence, OCHRE Card and a criminal history check will be required prior to commencing in this role.

Subsidised housing in your own private 1 bedroom apartment is provided with all utilities included for $20 per week.
With 6 weeks annual leave and 4 weeks isolation leave per year, travel is also provided.
PHHS also provides one week of paid professional development leave per year, plus a laptop and mobile.
About the Organisation
Pintupi Homelands Health Service is an expanding and well equipped AGPAL accredited primary healthcare facility located in Kintore. Servicing a close knit community of 450, the health service provides clinical services with a dedicated staff of nurses, health promotion officers, Aboriginal Health Workers, a doctor and support staff.
