About Our Organisation

Sydney West Sports Medicine (SWSM) is a multidisciplinary practice, based in Rooty Hill NSW. Our focus is on providing a quality healthcare services to those within the Western Sydney Region and surrounds.  

Our team includes Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Podiatrists, Chiropractic’s, Massage Therapists, Sports Physician Specialists and Occupational Health Doctors collaborating to ensure our patients have access to a wide range of complementary healthcare services in once convenient location. With state-of-the-art facilities available, and a world class secondary location currently in construction this is the perfect opportunity to establish yourself as one of the leading Dietitians in Western Sydney. 

The Opportunity

The successful applicant will have exclusive use of our Dietetics room during operational hours, with an opportunity for an immediate start, competitive package, access to an existing caseload and ample career growth opportunities. This role has a great deal of flexibility and is suited to someone looking to lease an amazing space in a supported environment.   

This lease will operate for a period of one (1) year with an option for extension following a review between both parties, provided lease requirements, fees, payments and aspects within tender are met. All fees pertaining to the Lessee will be distributed monthly to the Lessee by SWSM (less the management fee, which can be negotiated). All bookings and payments will be conducted through Reception.

The role includes provision of expert dietary and nutritional support and care to patients of all ages. This will include comprehensive assessments (diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation) and engaging with patients and other key stakeholders. A major focus will be on supporting patients to achieve their dietary and nutritional goals, and involving them in all decisions about their health.  You’ll be well supported to provide high quality and efficient service and care, and to extend your skills, experience and knowledge to be the best in your field.

To launch successfully into this role, you will ideally have practiced dietetics for a minimum of 2 years’, ideally in a private practice setting.  You will also demonstrate commitment to excellence in dietetic practice.  Current membership or eligibility for membership with the Dietitians Association of Australia and professional indemnity insurance, are a must. 

We are looking for a team player who is able to work effectively alongside both clinical and admin colleagues, and possess great time management skills to ensure all clinical and documentation aspects of your role are delivered in a timely manner. You will need to have a willingness and drive to learn and grow, plus contribute your knowledge and skills to the rest of the team.  

Your excellent communication skills, empathy and responsiveness, combined with professionalism, attention to detail and an ability to prioritise and successfully organise your time, will make you an invaluable member of our team.
