We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Marketing Executive to join our team.

Working from our Sydney office, the Senior Marketing Executive is responsible for designing and overseeing marketing campaigns for books across the local and international publishing lists. Working closely with a number of teams, including Design, Digital Marketing, Publishing and Sales, the role involves channel planning, creative briefing, budget management, reporting and more. The role will oversee a Marketing Executive who the ideal candidate will be able to lead and support day to day.

We’re looking for someone who is both creative and analytical, as passionate about books as they are a great idea or line of copy. Someone who is strategic and responsive and will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications and/or Experience Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar marketing/communications role
  • A demonstrable flair for creative thinking, copywriting and campaign planning
  • Highly-developed attention to detail coupled with a high level of accuracy
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering high quality work to deadline
  • A love for books
