Site Manager - 75 Boarding house
Due to this growth this builder have an immediate requirement for a Site Manager.
You will be part of a highly qualified team to help deliver a variety of both finishes and structures projects for townhouse and multi-unit residential projects in Sydney.
Reporting to the Director, you will be expected to hit the ground running and keep up with the programming and scheduling of the project.
You will lead and push the teams on site and will be responsible for keeping up with the schedule of the finishes program.
Duties and responsibilities include
Take the lead role in the day-to-day management of on-site safety, including monitoring of site safety
Run the on-site budget and business processes relating to labour, overtime, small tools and hire equipment.
Manage the day-to-day site activity in-accordance with the programme and comply with business systems Manage the day-to-day activity of subcontractors and site labour to the project plan and project documentation
Ensure a high level of communication and teamwork through direct communications and on-site meetings.
Consistently achieve and assist sub-contractors in their obligations to meet a high quality of workmanship
Skills and Experience Required
Trade background - Carpenter
Own builders licence is advantageous
Can use procore (Not a must) and is good with technology
Technology is a must and a requirement of the project, has to use computers and fill out information on procore along with emailing and reading plans and documents off the computer.
Competent in reading all plans and documents associated with a project and relay details or instructions to contractors, consultants, Project managers, contracts administrators, clients etc.
Well-presented and can converse well with all parties
Understands RFI's, ITP's, EOT,s, Variations etc.
A good understanding of NCC/ BCA an Australian standards.
Owns an amount of own tools, has to own levels, tape measures etc to be able to check that what has been constructed is as per the plans.
Can put reports together to provide up the chain to relevant managers
Can follow instruction and is a good listener
