We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly organised Product Manager to join our product team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Product Director, you will manage all inventory, including all re-ordering for our local publishing program (both children’s and adult titles) in order to grow sales and profitability, including responsibility for preparing sales and marketing materials.
- Managing the inventory for our children’s and adult publishing lists in conjunction with the Product Director
- Communicating publication schedule changes, print delays, organising the release of the stock from our warehouse (UBD)
- Regular reporting
- Coordinating the flow of information and costings to internal departments
Qualifications and/or experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, in particular stock management
- Sound numerical and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrates creativity and innovation
Previous experience in the book industry is desirable.
