The Victorian Government is delivering its Recycling Victoria policy which will create a more reliable recycling industry, make better use of our natural resources, and reduce waste. Achieving this relies on people - in households, business, and community and in government - changing their behaviours and business practices. We're looking for a talented Behaviour Change Specialist to join our dedicated team to embed behaviour change principles across the broad suite of Recycling Victoria programs. The ideal candidate will have qualifications in behavioural science, economics or equivalent with experience applying behaviour change principles in a program setting to achieve public policy objectives.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Expertise and/or an appropriate qualification in behavioural science, economics or similar is desirable.
  • Experience in developing and delivering behaviour change programs in a government context is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of current issues and trends in waste and resource recovery, resource efficiency, sustainability or broader environmental policy is highly desirable.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
