About Myola Feedlot
Myola Feedlot is a modern 20,000 SCU feedlot situated in the heart of the “Golden Triangle” in northwest NSW. The feedlot plays an integral role in the BFG supply chain, ensuring the delivery of a consistent supply of cattle to Bindaree grain fed brands.
Myola is managed by a qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated staff. We pride ourselves on being a working family, valuing teamwork, accountability and operating at the highest standards.
Myola is looking for a skilled and knowledgeable Feeding Leading Hand to join the feeding team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily feeding operations including compliance with NFAS requirements. Strong computer skills will be necessary for using feedlot software such as FY3000 and Feed Bunk. Communication and attention to detail is critical to this role.
This role is responsible for bunk calling and management. The successful candidate will need to have experience in a similar role within the industry.
This person will be able to lead the small feeding team positively, take initiative and have a commitment to safety and quality outcomes. Our team is looking for someone who has an open-minded attitude, seeks continuous improvement and promotes our culture built on integrity, trust and honesty.
Myola Feedlot is located between Croppa Creek and North Star, NSW. Staff accommodation is available on site and this position works a 10/4 roster. Above award remuneration for suitable applicants is available, negotiated on relevant skills and experience.
