About Myola Feedlot

Myola Feedlot is a modern 20,000 SCU feedlot situated in the heart of the “Golden Triangle” in northwest NSW. The feedlot plays an integral role in the BFG supply chain, ensuring the delivery of a consistent supply of cattle to Bindaree grain fed brands.

The Role

Myola is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Animal Health Leading Hand to join the livestock team. This role is essential to assisting with the everyday management of cattle health including cattle movements, treatment and care including administering animal health treatments and completing relevant records. Team members must have a high attention to detail and the ability to communicate confidently across the feedlot.

This person will be able to lead the team positively, take initiative and have a commitment to safety and quality outcomes. Our team is looking for someone who has an open-minded attitude, seeks continuous improvement and promotes our culture built on integrity, trust and honesty. 

This role reports to our Animal Health Supervisor and leads a small team. The successful candidate will need to have industry experience with proven knowledge of cattle health.

Myola Feedlot is located between Croppa Creek and North Star, NSW. Staff accommodation is available on site and this position works a 10/4 roster. A minimum 2 horses is required for this position with suitable tack. Above award remuneration for suitable applicants is available, negotiated on relevant skills and experience.
