The Role:

We are seeking a Fire Suppression Technician/Tradesperson for a role based in Melbourne and surrounding metro areas, with some travel to regional areas required also. Working in a small team that service vehicle suppression systems in machinery, buses, and vehicles, this role will also provide you with the opportunity to complete a traineeship in Certificate II in FPA - while you work.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Have a mechanical trade background or similar experience
  • Fire suppression experience (preferred)
  • Hold current manual drivers licence
  • Demonstrate a positive / energetic attitude
  • Be solution-based and have the ability to propose solutions to customers for issues
  • Be an all-rounder and have a flexible “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Pass a full medical including ongoing random drug & alcohol tests
  • Be able to do overtime as required
  • Willingness to complete Certificate II – FPA (on the job training)
  • Able to travel regionally with some overnight stays when needed
