About the Role:

The Clinical Director: Mental Health Services is a combined leadership, clinical and administrative role which will drive performance through outstanding people leadership, instilling a high-performance culture throughout the facility to ensure employees are engaged and clients receive the highest quality psychiatric services.

The role oversees a comprehensive medical team of 6 Psychiatrists including Adult, Aged and Child and Youth Psychiatrists and 6 Psychiatric Registrars at various stages of training.  The role will work closely with the Hospital Executive to develop and achieve strategic initiatives and ensure the provision of quality, safe and sustainable health services.

About You:

Applicants will have demonstrated clinical leadership experience within a public mental health service. Applicants will also have a high level of clinical skills in psychiatry and demonstrated ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team in a wide range of settings, including rural settings.

Specialist qualifications in Psychiatry (FRANZCP) and registration with AHPRA are essential.
