As one of our newest facilities, Panch Day Surgery Centre is designed to deliver excellence in patient care and meet the highest benchmark of quality standards. It is a modern, purpose-built day surgery, with 2 state-of-the-art theatres. The facility has the only dedicated eye surgery theatre in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne, equipped with the latest ophthalmic technology.
We have lists increasing in our second operating theatre so we need to find experienced, passionate, ophthalmic perioperative nurses to join our specialist clinical support team. You will love this day surgery centre, it flows effortlessly for both patient and staff convenience and efficiencies!
In your role, you would be responsible for delivering exceptional skills in scrub/scout, anaesthetics and recovery, patient admissions and discharges.
A bit about you
You’ll be AHPRA registered and bring with you a minimum of 3 years theatre experience, preferably ophthalmic although not mandatory. You’ll have demonstrated knowledge of the Department of Health Guidelines, Standards and Regulations, OHS, Infection Control and their impact on delivery of care.
You are passionate team player focused on person-centred care who thrives in a fast paced, dynamic team environment. You’ll have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality, best practice and workplace safety.
