Ardoch is a children's education charity focused on improving educational outcomes for children and young people in disadvantaged communities. The organisation has a strategic vision to become Australia's most impactful education partner and has built a strong following of supporters, funders and has ambitions to continue to expand its reach. Their mission is that every child's potential is realised through full participation in education. This belief inspires them to increase engagement in education, build aspirations and enhance learning outcomes of children facing disadvantage. This is achieved through delivering educational programs and mobilising community and workplace volunteers to support schools and early childhood services. The organisation also advocates for and seeks to influence policy change to reduce inequity in education.

As the Chief Executive Officer you will work in partnership with the progressive Board to continue to build upon the strong foundations of the organisation and to develop and deliver Ardoch's Strategic Plan. You will play an integral role in increasing the public profile of Ardoch liaising with sponsors, volunteers, major donors, government and the community to improve services, generate community involvement and build the profile of the brand. You will develop strategies to further build financial stability ensuring diversification of funding efforts are maintained, improved and enhanced through activities such as multiyear funding agreements and innovative funding sources, to support Ardoch's expansion in both geography and offering. In the current COVID environment when children facing disadvantage have fallen even further behind, you will oversee the development of new programs and services that anticipate and meet the needs of Ardoch's current and future participants. Leading a highly capable and passionate team you will encourage an inspiring a cohesive culture where people are valued and developed to achieve both individual and organisational goals.

You are known as an inspiring leader having led multidisciplinary teams in diverse environments and through this have achieved meaningful impact to customers or community. Well regarded for your ability to advocate and develop relationships with a range of key stakeholders both internally and externally, you have successfully generated positive revenue outcomes for your organisation. Additionally, you will have proven success building and maintaining a healthy organisational culture, while leading significant change efforts across an organisation adapting to market needs. Your values are aligned with Ardoch and you bring a passion and commitment to supporting the community. A familiarity of the education sector would be beneficial but not essential in this role. Relevant tertiary qualifications would be highly desirable.
