Well known for our cocktail offering we are a premium destination offering intimate table service with signature cocktails in-venue and at-home bottled cocktails via Providoor.

We're now searching for an experienced cocktail person to help our tight-knit team at The Ugly Duckling in the heart of Richmond.

The position will assist with managing the business efficiently and profitably alongside the beverage manager while maintaining our excellent reputation as a premium cocktail destination and attention to customer service standards.

The successful candidate be responsible for;

Cocktail program - together with the Beverage Manager you will develop and drive an advanced cocktail program and further shape the venue into a formidable Melbourne cocktail bar and take-home offering. 

Venue operations - execute all day-to-day bar operations (open/close venue, till reconciliation, stock counts, Providoor order fulfillment) and ensure the venue is presented and functions as a premium destination at all times.

Customer service - ensure we are known for always delivering a high level of customers service and experience to our customers.

Required skills and experience:

  • Previous experience as a bartender in a fast-paced cocktail/wine bar environment
  • General knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and wine
  • Good customer service skills
  • Understanding of RSA and liquor laws.

The role comes with a competitive salary package plus super and holidays. Start Date 12th January 2022.
