The Motor Trade Association of SA/NT is an industry association representing the interests of over 1200 member businesses in the retail automotive sales, repair and service sector.
Our Training and Employment Centre is the peak training organisation for the automotive industry, training 1000 apprentices and trainees, and has an excellent reputation as both a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and a Group Training Organisation (GTO) within the Motor Industry.
In this role you will assist in the growth of apprentice skills (RTO) and employment (GTO) through implementing and monitoring marketing initiatives based on customer insights, analytics and research.
As part of a small but highly specialised team, you will work with experienced, energetic and driven colleagues to deliver targeted communications and content aimed at attracting the next generation of automotive experts to our established brand.
This role is suited to a marketing/communications graduate with approximately two years’ experience in a similar position – somebody who can bring foundational knowledge, fresh ideas and is willing to learn.
To be successful in your application, outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a must. You will also have the ability to keep on top of tight deadlines. Building rapport with a range of both internal and external stakeholders will come naturally to you.
A good understating of the Adobe Creative suite, particularly in video production/editing, is highly preferred and an interest in automotive will be looked upon favourably.
In return, you will be exposed to a diverse range of marketing initiatives and build practical knowledge of industry-standard marketing tools. You will also see your hard work come to fruition as apprentices who have chosen their new career path thanks to your communications walk through the gates!
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the team in delivering efficient and effective written communications across a wide range of channels
- Website maintenance and updating (CMS)
- Video and still-imagery content creation for RTO and GTO
- Media buying and reporting in conjunction with agency
- Event management and logistics with team for major events
- Reporting of internal application data, including insights and analysis for feedback into advertising decision making
Whilst primarily located at our Royal Park Training Centre, please note that ad-hoc work will be required at our Wayville office.
