The Planning and Service Performance Division takes a leading role in providing data for evidence-based decision making, providing information and advice throughout the University and delivering client-focussed services in a culture of continuous improvement in keeping with the ANU Service Performance Framework.
The Division integrates five key streams of interrelated work: Service Solutions; Business Intelligence and Analytics; Planning and Reviews; Performance and Institutional Research; and, Solution Delivery.
About the role
The Business Analyst is part of the Service Solutions team which supports the delivery and implementation of key programs across the University. This is a stimulating role and plays an integral part of the ongoing process of service improvement and business transition across the University. It includes business analysis and administration to deliver solutions to meet the expected outcomes and needs of our stakeholders and the strategic objectives for the University.
Our business analysts work with a diverse group of stakeholders and PSP team members to deliver day-to-day project management tasks within project timelines and through the use of human centred design processes and principles.
Our ideal candidate
The successful applicant will bring high level and well developed analytical and problem solving skills, demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy and ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Your experience in working in complex environments and your ability to translate customer and business needs to functional and technical requirements will provide you with the opportunity to facilitate effective business relationships across the University.
Degree in a relevant field and experience in the higher education sector will be highly regarded.
