Applications are invited for the above position to join our Works Team. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a small dynamic team that is very multi-skilled.

This position is responsible for operating Council’s Patching Truck predominantly and other plant from time to time in a competent and efficient manner.  They will support the road maintenance and construction teams in their commitment to develop and maintain a safe and efficient road and transport network for Federation Council.

The successful applicant will need to have experience in operating a patching truck, hold a valid and current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence, hold a Loader Operator’s Certificate of competency, hold a construction induction card, and possess demonstrated computer skills and any other qualifications, skills, experience outlined in the position description.
 

The appointment will be in accordance with the Local Government State Award and Council’s policies and conditions of employment.  The salary will be within the range of $1,093.50 to $1,206.90 per week, plus superannuation and any standard allowances, the weekly rate will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.  This is a Grade 10 in Federation Council’s Salary System.
